If you are moving your family to the UAE and want your children to stay on the Pakistani syllabus, the choice is smaller than most people expect. Only a handful of schools teach the Pakistani national curriculum, and most of them sit Federal Board (FBISE) exams for grades 9 to 12. That means your child can return to a school in Pakistan without losing a year. Below is every Pakistani-curriculum school we could confirm on an official source. We grouped them by emirate, which is how parents search: Pakistani schools in Dubai, Sharjah, Ajman, Abu Dhabi and Al Ain.
Checked on 19 Oct 2026. Each school below is named on a regulator page (KHDA or ADEK) or on its own official website. We do not print fees, ratings or seat availability, because they change every year. Check them on the school's own site or the regulator's page before you apply.
Pakistani schools in Dubai (KHDA)
KHDA regulates private schools in Dubai. Its directory lists two schools under the Pakistani curriculum.
- Pakistan Education Academy, Umm Hurair First. KHDA lists it as Pakistani curriculum, KG 1 to Grade 12. Official site: pea.ae. KHDA publishes its inspection report and fee fact sheet.
- H.H. Shaikh Rashid Al Maktoum Pakistani School, Al Qusais First (Baghdad Street). KHDA lists it as Pakistani curriculum. Official site: sramps.sch.ae.
Pakistani school in Sharjah
- Pakistan Islamia Higher Secondary School (PIHSS), Al Ghubaiba, Sharjah. Established in 1974, it follows the Pakistani curriculum under FBISE and has separate facilities for boys and girls from class 4. Official site: pihss-shj.com. When we checked, its online form said there were no seats for 2026-27 except KG-1, so ask the school before you plan around it.
Pakistani school in Ajman
- Pakistani School Ajman (PSA), near Ajman City Centre. Its FAQ says it follows the Pakistani national curriculum, is registered with the Federal Board in Islamabad, and runs its own SSC and HSSC exam centre. It also says it has no other branch in the UAE. Official site: psa.sch.ae.
Pakistani schools in Abu Dhabi and Al Ain (ADEK)
- Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Arab Pakistani School (SKBZAPS), Abu Dhabi. It follows the National Curriculum of Pakistan from early years to Grade 12 and is affiliated with FBISE. Official site: skbzaps.com.
- Pakistan Community Welfare School (PCWS), Mohammed Bin Zayed City, Abu Dhabi. It teaches the Pakistani curriculum from KG to Grade 8, so plan a move for Grade 9. Official site: pcwschool.com.
- Pakistani Islamic Private School (PIPS), Al Ain. It is listed in ADEK's schools finder, and its own site says grades 9 to 12 are affiliated with the Federal Board in Islamabad. Official site: pipsalain.com.
How to choose and apply
- Check the school on the regulator's site first. That means KHDA for Dubai, ADEK for Abu Dhabi and Al Ain, and the Sharjah Private Education Authority or the Ministry of Education for the northern emirates. The regulator page shows the curriculum, grades and inspection report.
- Ask early about seats. The older Pakistani schools are often full in the lower grades, and some open admission only for KG.
- Keep your child's residence visa and Emirates ID ready. Pakistani School Ajman, for example, says it cannot admit a student on a visit visa.
- Get the leaving certificate attested if your child is coming from Pakistan. The school will tell you which offices must stamp it, usually the Pakistani side (IBCC or the board, then MOFA) and then the UAE side.
- Confirm the FBISE registration for grades 9 to 12 if you may move back to Pakistan.

Why some names are missing
You will see more names on social media and directory sites, including schools in Ras Al Khaimah and other parts of Ajman. We only list a school once a regulator page or its own site confirms that it is currently operating and teaching the Pakistani curriculum. If you know a school we missed, send us the official link through the contact page and we will check it.
