In Saudi Arabia, the schools most Pakistani families mean when they say "Pakistani school" are the Pakistan International Schools. These are community schools run by parents' management councils under the supervision of the Saudi Ministry of Education. The Pakistan Embassy in Riyadh lists them, and the Ambassador is patron of the Riyadh schools. Riyadh and Jeddah each have more than one section, so check which one you are applying to: English medium (Cambridge or British curriculum) or the Pakistani curriculum.

Checked on 19 Oct 2026. Each school below is named on the Pakistan Embassy's education page or on its own official website. We do not print fees or admission dates. Check them with the school directly, because they change every year.

Pakistan International School Riyadh

  • Pakistan International School Riyadh (PISR). A community school registered with the Ministry of Education under licence G25, with the Ambassador of Pakistan as Patron-in-Chief. It traces its start to 1966. Official site: pisr.org.
  • Pakistan International School English Section (PISES), Riyadh. Set up in 1995 under the supervision of the Embassy, for ages 3 to 18. Its senior school follows the British National Curriculum. Official site: pises.edu.sa.

Pakistan International School Jeddah

  • Pakistan International School Jeddah English Section (PISJES), Al Rehab District. It runs K to 12, and its site lists a CIE (Cambridge) coordinator. When we checked, its home page said admissions were closed. Official site: pisjes.edu.sa.
  • Pakistan International School Al Aziziah, Jeddah, Cambridge Curriculum Section (CCS), on Taj ud Din Makki Road. Official pages: pisj-ccs.edupage.org and pisjazizia.com. Searches for "Pakistani school Jeddah Azizia" usually mean this campus.

Other cities

The Embassy's education page also lists Pakistan International Schools in Al Khobar and Tabuk, and community schools in Al Hasa and Buraidah (Al Qassim). It does not give full websites for all of them, so contact the Embassy's community welfare or education wing before you rely on one. See Pakistan Embassy Riyadh and Consulate Jeddah for official contacts.

Before you apply

  1. Decide on the section: Pakistani curriculum (FBISE), or English medium with Cambridge exams. This matters if you may move back to Pakistan.
  2. Make sure your child's iqama is issued. Dependants need a valid iqama, and the dependant fee applies. See the Saudi dependent fee.
  3. Get the previous school's leaving certificate attested, as the school asks. For children coming from Pakistan this usually means the board or IBCC, then MOFA, then the Saudi side.
  4. Ask about seats and the admission test early. Some sections close admissions for the year once they are full.
